Please join us in welcoming Ellen to our Camp Spring Creek family. Ellen is joining us from Ireland and loves all things water! Her experience as a rower will make her a supportive team player.
Tell us a little about where you are from, describing it for those who are likely never to have been there before. If you have out-of-town visitors, where do you take them?
I’m from a county an Ireland called Kerry; it’s a county that lives and breathes football (Gaelic). I live in Killarney a very popular tourist destination. Killarney is a town surrounded by lakes, rivers and mountains. My favourite part about where I’m from is the variety of beaches that you can choose from.
What do you do for work/studies?
I’m a second year student in college, studying social care.
What would campers be surprised to learn about you?
That I lived in Spain for 7 years.
What are your hopes for this summer? What are you most looking forward to this summer?
My hopes for this summer is to have a lot of fun and to get to meet knew people from around the world.
How would your closest friends describe you?
My closest friends would describe me as a quiet person to strangers but a firecracker around friends.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment would be being my cousins sponsor for her confirmation
What can campers do to win your heart?
To have a lot of fun while they are camp and to not call football, Gaelic football!!
